Aqueducts - the Working of Rome's Greatest Infrastructure

While the Roman Empire is most well known for its military prowess , and for good reasons. After all , they were one of the most capable nations in the theatre of war, but this was far from the only field they were skilled in. You see, Romans didn’t simply have an advanced military but were also capable of great feats of engineering as well to su pport their growing empire. Out of all of their innovation in architecture, the aqueducts are arguably their most important one, being able to carry drinking water over long distances to areas in need of more supplies.   Now the aqueduct system isn’t exactly obscure, as most people who studied a little bit about the Roman Empire will know the iconic arched bridge traversing valleys.
